Seven new Covid cases in Durham

There were seven new cases of Covid-19 in Durham yesterday, marking a whole week in single digits and bringing the seven-day average to just over five.

The number of Delta variant cases is up one to 57 active cases and there are just three people hospitalized with the virus, with two in ICU.

Vaccinations are up to 722,050 and 74.2 per cent of the adult population of the Region has had at least one dose. Of 18-plus residents, 46.5 per cent are fully vaccinated.
