Seven new Covid cases in Durham; local hospitals remain Covid-free

There were seven new Covid-19 cases in Durham yesterday for the second day in a row, bringing the seven-day average in the Region to just under nine per day.
All new cases are home self-isolating as Durham hospitals remain Covid-free. The Delta variants number is holding steady at 97.
More than 850,000 people have now been vaccinated in Durham and 76.1 per cent of the 12-plus population have received at least one dose; 62.4 per cent are fully vaccinated.
