Seven Brampton bus drivers had COVID-19 this month

Seven Brampton Transit bus drivers and a City bylaw enforcement officer have tested positive for COVID 19 since the beginning of December.

Information supplied by the City of Brampton shows the most recent COVID cases of City employees who work directly with the public.

The City says it deals closely with Peel Public Health to make decisions that balance the need to provide services while maintaining the health and safety of our employees and community.

Here is list of when the bus driver was last on the job, and what routes they operated.

• Last day employee worked: December 16
Routes: 501 Züm Queen and 15 Bramalea

• Last day employee worked: December 11
Routes: 1 Queen, 18 Dixie, 30 Airport and 50 Gore Rd.

• Last day employee worked: December 11
Routes: 505 Züm Bovaird and 33 Peter Robertson

• Last day employee worked: December 10
Routes: 501 Züm Queen, 511 Züm Steeles, 4 Chinguacousy and 7 Kennedy

• Last day employee worked: December 8
Routes: 511 Züm Steeles, 2 Main, 3 McLaughlin and 7 Kennedy

• Last day employee worked: December 4
Routes: 14 Torbram and 50 Gore Rd.

• Last day employee worked: December 1
Routes: 502 Züm Main, 511 Züm Steeles and 51 Hereford
