Serious motorcycle crash in Caledon sends one person to hospital

A motorcycle rider was sent to hospital after a serious crash in Caledon.
Emergency crews rushed to the collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Mayfield Road shortly after 5 p.m. Monday (June 19), OPP said in a tweet.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a Toronto area hospital.
The rider’s injuries were later determined to be non-life threatening in nature.
Mayfield Road was closed from McLaughlin Road to Chinguacousy Road for the police investigation.
There was no word on the cause of the collision and if any charges would be laid.
