Serious crash in Clarington closes section of road

A stretch along a major road between Clarington and Oshawa was closed late on Thursday night for a collision investigation, following a crash that reportedly involved a snowplow.
The Durham Regional Police said that Columbus Road East was closed from Grandview St. N. through to Langmaid Road in Clarington. There were no preliminary indications about the extent of the physical injuries that people involved in the crash suffered.
