Section of Hamilton’s Red Hill Valley Parkway closed due to disabled vehicle

A stretch of the southbound Red Hill Valley Parkway in Hamilton was closed on Tuesday after a truck lost an axle.
Hamilton Police Services are advising motorists to take alternate routes. The parkway is closed from Greenhill Avenue to Mud Street/Upper Redhill. There are no injuries, but it will take some time to remove fluid that has leaked on to the road.

UPDATE: The section of road was reopened around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
