Second vehicle possibly involved in crash that killed 3 young men in Brampton

Another vehicle may have been involved in a horrific crash that killed three young men in Brampton early this morning.
Emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a pole on Bovaird Drive near Chinguacousy Road in Brampton around 1:30 a.m. this morning (Feb. 8).
Paramedics worked to revive the victims but despite efforts, three young men were pronounced dead on the scene.
In an update this afternoon, Peel Regional Police spokesperson, Const. Tyler Bell-Morena said there may have been a second vehicle involved in the crash. Police are looking for dash cam footage that may captured a Nissan Altima or Volkswagan Jetta early this morning.
Police have a suspect in custody awaiting possible charges related to the crash, Bell-Morena said.
Bovaird Drive between Fletchers Creek Boulevard and Chinguacousy Road was closed for the collision investigation. As of 2:45 p.m. the road was closed but expected to re-open in an hour or two.
