Niagara Police have now charged a second Mississauga minor for his part in a fatal shooting at Niagara Falls’ Clinton Hill area back in April.

The shooting stunned the community as one man was killed and two were injured, all under the age of 18, after gunfire erupted near the Great Canadian Midway on April 8th at 12:30 am.

On July 19, a 17-year-old Mississauga man was charged on several counts, including attempted murder.

Today (August 10), an 18-year-old Mississauga man was caught and charged with robbery, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of crime property, theft of a motor vehicle and fail to comply with an undertaking.

As the suspect was under the age of 18 back in April, his name cannot be released.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing today at the courthouse in St. Catharines.

This investigation remains ongoing and anyone with further information is asked to contact detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service Homicide Unit at (905) 688-4111, dial option 3, extension 1009104 (Detective Sergeant Andrew Knevel).
