Second man arrested after violent carjacking caught on video in Milton went viral

Halton police have arrested a second man in connection with a violent carjacking in Milton last month.

The incident of a woman being pulled from her car in a Milton parking lot was caught on video and went viral.

On the afternoon of March 24, Halton investigators arrested Gary Walker, 37, of Marmora. He was arrested outside a residence in Oshawa.

Walker has been charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Robbery
  • Mischief under $5,000
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Three counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Three counts of failure to stop after an accident
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

Walker was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
