Search underway for suspect who used Durham College student’s stolen credit cards

A search is ongoing for a woman police believe stole a Durham College student’s debit and credit card and used them at several stores.

The victim’s wallet was locked up in a Durham College locker on Dec. 16, 2022. However, the suspect is believed to have gotten inside and made off with the cards.

The cards have since been used at several stores to buy goods.

Durham Regional Police describe the suspect as an Asian woman with black hair. She attended the stores wearing a black puffy jacket with a hood and green pants.
