Search operation underway in Mississauga to locate missing swimmer

A body of a male has been retrieved from Lake Ontario this evening(June 14).
A swimmer has reportedly gone missing in Lake Ontario.
A major search operation has been initiated at the Lakefront Promenade area by the Peel Regional Police marine unit and Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services.
Authorities were alerted about a distress call, which prompted a significant police and fire presence in the area.
Emergency crews are trying to locate the swimmer.
