Search on for man in alleged sexual assaults in Brampton

The public’s assistance is being requested in helping to identify an adult male who police believe is responsible for two alleged sexual assaults in Brampton this month.

Both incidents occurred in the area of McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue in Brampton.

The first incident happened on Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m. A 19-year-old woman was walking in the area of Steeles Avenue West and McLaughlin Boulevard when she was allegedly sexually assaulted by the perpetrator who then fled the area.

The second incident took place on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m. near McLaughlin Road and Ray Lawson Boulevard. A 19-year-old woman was walking in the area when a male allegedly sexually assaulted her before taking off.

Both female victims sustained minor physical injuries.

The suspect(s) is described as a male in his late 20’s to early 30’s. He is approximately five-foot-eight to five-foot-10 with a thin build and was wearing dark clothing.

Police are asking anyone who lives in the area to check for vehicle and property camera footage during the specified dates and times.
