UPDATE: Police say Amelia has been located in good health and thanked members of the public for their assistance.

Investigators are asking residents to help find a 13-year-old girl who went missing in the early hours of Wednesday in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police say 13-year-old Amelia was last seen around 12:34 a.m. in the area of Black Forest Drive.

The teen was seen leaving the area on a scooter headed towards Bramalea Road.

Police are asking anyone with information on Amelia’s disappearance to contact investigators.

Amelia is described as a Black female standing 5 feet tall, weighing 85 pounds.

Amelia was last seen wearing pigtails, a black shirt, black shorts, black sandals, and was riding a grey scooter with yellow trim.

Anyone with information on Amelia’s whereabouts, surveillance camera or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 ext. 2133.
