Search is on for man missing for days in Mississauga

UPDATE: Police said on Wednesday that Alexander has been located and thanked members of the community for their assistance.

Police are asking the public for help locating a man who was last seen days ago in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police say 67-year-old Alexander was last seen on March 14 in the area of South Service Road and Kipper Avenue in Mississauga.

Investigators say Alexander’s family and officers are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen the missing man to contact police.

Alexander is described as standing around 5’10” tall and weighing 200 lbs with green eyes, and a balding hairline with a buzz cut on the sides.

Police say he usually wears dentures but is currently without them, and that he is known to frequent religious institutions or places of worship.

Alexander was last seen wearing burgundy coloured jeans, black Puma sneakers and a brown sweater with white trimming, and a green t-shirt, police say.
