School evacuated due to reported threat in Georgetown

Around 12:30 p.m., Halton Police reported that they’re investigating a reported threat at Harrison Public School in Georgetown.
The school was evacuated and there were no injuries to staff or students.
“All have been re-located to a secondary location. Parents have been informed,” police say.
The details of the threat have not been disclosed at this time.

The investigation has concluded and police have deemed the reported threat to be unfounded.
The school is now re-opened to staff and students.
