School bus companies tasked with getting kids to school in Durham Region appear to have solved their bus driver shortage problem – at least for today – with just six routes cancelled across the entire region.

The morning and afternoon runs to St. Elizabeth Seaton and Highbush elementary schools and St. Mary Catholic Secondary school in Pickering are cancelled today (March 21), while the other routes are all on with only a few delays.

All routes are running in Clarington, where most of the bus cancellations have happened this year, with just four delays.
