School bus routes in Clarington (9), Pickering (6) and Ajax (4) cancelled Thursday

Nineteen school bus routes in Durham Region have been cancelled today due to driver shortages, with schools in Clarington, Pickering and Ajax affected.

The rest of the routes in the region are running today (May 4) and most are running on time.

The schools are Holy Trinity, Courtice Secondary, Bowmanville High, Duke of Cambridge, Courtice North, St. Elizabeth and Courtice Intermediate in Clarington; Vaughan Willard, Valleyview and Maple Ridge in Pickering; and J. Clarke Richardson Secondary and Bolton Falby in Ajax.
