School bus cancellations limited to 23, including ten in Oshawa

School bus cancellations in Durham Region are limited to 23 routes today (May 11) with operators limiting the impact on parents with more than half of the cancellations at local high schools.

Oshawa is looking at ten cancellations today, including high schools Paul Dwyer, John Pereyma and RS McLaughlin and Walter Harris and Dr. SJ Phillips elementary schools. Brock Township and Whitby each have four routes cancelled Wednesday: Sunderland and McCaskill’s Mills elementary schools and Brock High School in Brock; and Henry Street High School and CE Broughton elementary in Whitby.

Other schools with come cancelled routes include Pickering High School (PM only) and St. Patrick elementary (PM only) in Ajax; Clarington Central Secondary in Bowmanville; St. Mary High School (AM only) in Pickering; and RH Cornish in Scugog.
