School bus cancellations for Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and Durham Feb 28

With an Environment Canada travel advisory that has hit southern Ontario with a wintry mix of heavy snow, ice pellets and freezing rain, there are some school bus cancellations for Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Halton, Durham and Niagara Region (Feb. 28, 2023).

Here is the list of bus cancellations in different regions across southern Ontario:


Peel: Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon

Due to poor road conditions, STOPR is unable to service some gravel roads in Zone 3.

A lot of the school bus routes are delayed this morning.

Halton:

All schools are open today and all school buses are running.

There are a few delays in school bus routes.

Hamilton: 

Schools are open, and all school bus services running, but there are some delays.
Here are all the delays.


Niagara Region:

All schools are open and all school bus service is running.


Durham Region:

DSTS has cancelled Zone 1,2,3 transportation for today due to inclement weather. Buses are running in Zone 4, which is the lakeshore communities of Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa, with a dozen delays.

STSCO, which is responsible for Clarington, has cancelled all school survice across its jurisdiction.

All schools remain open in Durham Region.
