School bus cancellations down to 18; Clarington with five, Uxbridge and Whitby four each

Wednesday is a better day for kids taking the bus to school with just 18 route cancellations in Durham Region involving 11 schools.

The cancellations are split between Clarington (5), Uxbridge and Whitby (four each), Pickering (3) and Ajax (2).

Schools affected are Clarington Central Secondary (AM only), Courtice Secondary, Courtice Intermediate, MJ Hobbs and Hampton in Clarington; Scott Central, Uxbridge Public and Joseph Gould in Uxbridge; Henry Street and CE Broughton in Whitby; Elizabeth Phin and St. Mary (AM only) in Pickering; and St. Patrick and Pickering High in Ajax.
