The Peel District School Board has said it still needs to digest the Province’s directions for back to school, which was released earlier this week.

“As the Ministry of Education released its directions to school boards across the province Aug. 3, Peel District School Board (PDSB) has not yet met with Peel Public Health to determine their application within the Peel region context,” said a statement from the board’s communications department.

“We look forward to working with Peel Public Health in this regard and will be communicating specifics about the upcoming school year with PDSB staff and families in the coming weeks, prior to the Sept. 9 reopening of our regular calendar schools.”

When contacted for their response, the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board said their offices were closed this week, so they couldn’t release a statement.
