Santa, carollers, Christmas tree lighting coming to Hamilton’s Locke Street this weekend

Locke Street Shops is pulling out all the stops to attract potential shoppers to the area ahead of the Holiday season.

Hamilton’s Locke Street South is getting a head start in celebrating Christmas.

This Saturday (Nov. 13), starting at 4 p.m., Locke Street Shops is pulling out all the stops to attract potential shoppers to the area ahead of the Holiday season.

  • Santa Clause will be stationed in the area between 4 and 7 p.m.
  • Carriage rides will start at Charlton Ave and take place between 4 and 7 p.m.
  • Carollers will be belting your favourite Xmas tunes from 4 to 6 p.m.
  • The Tree Lighting will take place at 6 p.m.
  • Mr. Ben, the Hamilton-based kids’ musician will be playing from 6:20 to 7:20 p.m.

Stores on Locke are being encouraged to stay open a little longer for easier access to local shopping.
