After finally being open to the public last year after two years of drive-thru only during the pandemic, the Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest is back again and yes, they’ve included Father’s Day.

Once again being held at Rapidsview Park (7369 Niagara Parkway), the ribfest, now in its 19th year, will be barbequing up more delicious sides on Friday, June 16 from 4 pm to 11 pm, Saturday, June 17 from noon to 11 pm and finally on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18 from noon to 7 pm.

While the four competing rib stands – Billy Bones, Bone Daddy, Hogfather and Silver Bullet – are ready to rib up a storm, Rotary organizers have brought in a number of different bands-artists to entertain over the weekend.

On the music stage, rib lovers will see Afterschool Duo (4-6 pm), Jay Diem Band (6:30-8:30 pm) and Yellow Byrd (9-11 pm) on June 16.

On Saturday, there’s tons of entertainment with Secondary School Showcase (noon-4 pm), Avenue Inn (4-6 pm), ShinDig (6:30-8:30 pm) and finally, Back To The 80s Band (9-11 pm).

On Sunday, there’s four bands up with Evan Rotella (noon-2 pm), Soul Jam (2:30-4:30 pm) and Back In The Daze (5-7 pm). However, from 4:30 to 5 pm, organizers will be using the stage for the Ribber Awards Presentation.

Said the Niagara Falls Rotary Club, “Money raised during this event goes back into the community. We have contributed to Rotary House, Pathstone Mental Health, Niagara Nutrition Program, GNGH Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Niagara, Project Share, Habitat for Humanity and Literacy Niagara to name but a few.”

There’s lots more trucks scattered through the event with fun and games for the whole family. For more information, check HERE!
