Service restored for Rogers customers in Mississauga, Brampton after lengthy outage

Rogers Mississauga Brampton outage

UPDATE: As of 2 p.m. on May 3 Rogers reports that service is now fully operational in both Mississauga and Brampton

 

Rogers says customers in several areas of Mississauga and Brampton are reporting outages for many services.

The Rogers website reports that neighbhourhoods with the postal codes L5R, L5N, L5V, L5B, L5M, L5H, L5A and L4Z are affected. These areas are essentially central and west Mississauga.

In Brampton the areas affected start with the post codes L6V, L6P, L7A, L6R, L6Z, L6X, L6Y and L6S.

The service interuptions are across the board affecting mobile and home phones, internet and television for both homes and businesses.

On social media customers have been complaining that internet service has been down since approximately 11 a.m. today (May 3).

Rogers reports they are working to correct the issues but have yet to reveal why the outages have occured.
