Rock icon Bryan Adams performing in Oshawa

Canadian rock superstar Bryan Adams is back on the road and will be at Oshawa’s Tribute Communities Centre October 12 in support of his 15th studio album, So Happy It Hurts.

The Canadian singer-songwriter will kick off his new set of shows in Prince Edward Island in August, making his way from province to province, before wrapping up in Vancouver in November.

The 62-year-old Kingston-born guitarist, singer, songwriter, widely considered one of the most iconic rock musicians in the world, has more than 100 million records and singles over his career, which started with the release of the “Cuts Like a Knife” album in 1983, featuring the title hit, as well as “Straight From the Heart.”

He became a global star with the 1984 release of “Reckless.” featuring tracks like “Run To You,” “Summer of ’69” and “Heaven.

By 2008, Adams was ranked 38th on the list of all-time top artists on the Billboard Hot 100.

He has been inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Canada’s Walk of Fame, the Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, with 20 Juno Awards and a Grammy to his credit.
