UPDATE: Roadway closed due to collision in Hamilton, 14-year-old girl in life-threatening condition

Hamilton Police Service (HPS) has closed a roadway due to a collision today (Apr. 30).
Parkdale Avenue North has been temporarily shut down between Dunsmure Road and Roxborough Avenue.
No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
The collision was reported by police at 5:47 p.m.
UPDATE: Sources indicate a 14-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in the area, and has been taken to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition.
Paramedics have not issued an official statement at this time.
