Roads will be partially closed for hydrant installation in Niagara Falls

An upcoming fire hydrant installation may affect some drivers’ commutes this week.
The City says parts of the northbound lane of Drummond Road and westbound lane of Fingland Street will be closed on Sept. 7 and 8 as the new hydrant is installed.
Traffic delays should be expected, the City says.
During that time, drivers may want to take alternate routes and avoid the area.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of Friday.
