Roads closed after vehicle crashes into telephone pole in Mississauga

Multiple roads are closed following a collision Sunday morning in Mississauga.

At around 10:30 a.m., a single vehicle struck a telephone pole in the area of Ibar Way and Lakeshore Road West.

The driver has been taken to a trauma centre with currently unknown injuries.

Eastbound and westbound traffic at the intersection is shut down until further notice.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
