Road Closure in Effect After Pedestrian Struck in Mississauga

A road closure is currently in effect following a pedestrian being struck in Mississauga.

According to police, the pedestrian was struck near Airport Road and American Drive.

The 56-year-old female pedestrian was taken to a trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the driver remained on scene.

However, as mentioned, a road closure is currently in effect.

According to police, Airport Road is closed northbound from Highway 409 to American Drive.
