ROAD CLOSED: Suspicious vehicle investigation causing congestion in Brampton

A road closures is in place and traffic is being snarled on a Brampton road while police investigate a suspicious vehicle.

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to Glidden Road around 11:15 a.m. for reports of a suspicious vehicle, a spokesperson confirmed to INsauga.com.

The investigation has led police to close Glidden Road from Rutherford Road to Kennedy Road, and the closure is causing traffic back-ups in the area, police say. No injuries have been reported.

Police say drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes while investigators are on the scene.
