Road closed, major traffic delays expected after morning collision in Milton

Update: Hwy. 25 remains closed at Britannia Rd. in Milton following a two vehicle collision at 8:30 a.m. today (Mar. 22).

The collision involved a sedan and a transport truck. Halton police say one driver has been transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The road remains closed while the police Collision Reconstruction Unit is on scene.

Update: As of 12:15 p.m. Bronte Rd. remains closed due to a significant accident involving a transport truck. There is no word when the road will reopen.

Morning commuters on Regional Road 25 in Milton are in for some major delays after a vehicle collision early Wednesday (March 22).

Halton Regional Police Service is reporting Regional Road 25 is closed after a vehicle collision shortly after 8:30 a.m.

Regional Road 25 is closed to both north and southbound traffic at Britannia Rd. while Halton police conduct a collision investigation.

Morning commuters on the normally busy roads are being asked to please find other routes
