Road closed for fatal train accident in Pickering

A road closure is in effect this evening in Pickering (Nov. 27).

Police reported shortly after 8:00 p.m. that the westbound lanes of Bayly St are closed at West Shore Blvd for a police investigation.

Reports indicate a train accident on the tracks in the area, with one person believed to be dead.

Police have not put out a public statement on the incident at this time.

Residents should avoid the area as the investigation continues.
