Road Closed Following a Pedestrian Being Struck in Mississauga

Peel Police are currently on scene following a pedestrian being struck in Mississauga.

According to police, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Dixie Road and Shawson Drive in Mississauga.

The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.

One victim has been taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Dixie Road southbound will be closed for a few hours as a result of an investigation.
