ROAD CLOSED: Crash could cause traffic delays in Mississauga

Police have closed part of a busy Mississauga street following a crash on Wednesday.

The crash happened on Confederation Parkway South just north of Rathburn Road West.

Photos and video show a Cadillac with significant front-end damage in the middle of the roadway, with police and emergency crews on the scene.

At least three vehicles appear to be involved in the collision, and Confederation Parkway South has been closed in the area of Rathburn Road West.

A spokesperson for Peel Regional Paramedic Services said an ambulance was called off and no patients required transportation to hospital.

Drivers should avoid the area while police are on the scene.
