ROAD CLOSED: Child on bike struck in Mississauga crash

Police have closed an intersection in Mississauga following a crash involving a child on a bicycle.

The collision happened around 3:24 p.m. in the area of Constellation Drive and Guildwood Way, Peel Regional Police say.

Two victims were assessed at the scene by Peel Regional Paramedics, and one child was transported to local hospital with minor injuries. Police and paramedics did not disclose the age or any additional details about the victim.

The driver of the vehicle remind on the scene, and police have closed the intersection of Constellation Drive and Guildwood Way while the investigation is underway.

Drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
