Road closed as police investigate serious crash in Niagara Falls

Residents are asked to stay clear of a closed road today (July 31) in Niagara Falls.

Lundy’s Lane is closed in both directions between Kalar Rd and Beaverdams Rd as police investigate a serious crash.

Injuries are currently unknown.

“Roads will likely be closed into the evening,” said police.


UPDATE: Police say the collision involved a black 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a silver 2006 Honda Element.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 51 year old man from Niagara Falls, was found to be in critical condition. He was treated at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics and transported to an area hospital.

The driver of the Honda, a 71-year-old woman from Niagara Falls, was also transported to an area hospital for assessment.

Damage to each vehicle is estimated at $10,000.
