Road closed as crews respond to residential fire in Mississauga

Mississauga Fire and Peel paramedics are on scene for a fire in Mississauga this morning (Dec 29).
Police say a call came in at 7:20 a.m. for an active house fire in the area of Peter Street South and Bay Street.
Police say the status of the occupants and the injuries are unknown at this time.
Peter Street South and Bay Street are closed until further notice.
Residents are asked to take alternate routes.
