Road closed after woman seriously injured in hit-and-run in Scugog

Durham police are investigating a hit-and-run in the township of Scugog on Sunday morning (June 13).

At 7:15 a.m., police say a woman in her 20s was located with serious injuries on Coates Rd W between Oakridge Trail and Stevenson Rd.

There is currently no suspect description.

Coates is closed between Oakridge and Stevenson until further notice.

Residents are asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
