Road Closed After Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Mississauga

A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga.
Peel police told insauga.com that a call regarding the incident came in at 7:10 p.m. The male victim was struck in the Joan Drive and Fairview Road area and Joan Drive was closed between Hanson Road and Fairview Road as a result.
There are no reports on injuries available at this time.
The victim has been transported to local hospital.
