Restaurant on fire at Brampton plaza

Traffic could be diverted near a plaza in Brampton where firefighters are battling a blaze in a restaurant.
Peel Regional Police says it was called at 7:30 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 13) with reports of a fire at a restaurant in a plaza at McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue West. No injuries have been reported.

Brampton Fire and Emergency Services began releasing vehicles from the area around 8:35 p.m.
The fire is under control and the IC is releasing vehicles from the scene. The remaining crews are assisting with smoke removal and the fire investigation. No injuries have been reported.
