A power outage is currently in effect in Mississauga.

Around 12:45 p.m., Alectra Utilities reported an outage in the Mississauga Valley area, near Central Parkway and Bloor Street.

71 homes and businesses are affected, the company reports.

Crews have been dispatched and power is estimated to return at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.
