Residents being evacuated after fire breaks out at apartment building in Mississauga

Fire crews are responding to a residential fire in Mississauga this afternoon.

It was reported at 12:36 p.m. that a fire had broken out on the first floor of a residential building on Acorn Place.

Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services are on scene and the first floor is being evacuated.

No injuries have been reported at this time and the cause of fire is unknown.

Police are asking residents to avoid the area.
