A residential Christmas light display has raised over $10,000 for Milton District Hospital.

The display, called the Magical Lights of Milton, was located at 876 Willow Ave. and featured over 40,000 Christmas lights synchronized to music.

The lights were set up in November, with visitors encouraged to make donations that would go towards the local hospital.

According to the event’s Facebook page, organizers have raised over $75,000 over the years since they have begun setting up these displays.

This year alone, they were able to raise a total of $10,510.00.

“This morning we were proud to present a cheque to our hospital in the amount of $10,510.00 from our 2021 Christmas display, bringing our grand total over the years to $83,215.00,” read a post on the event’s Facebook page.

“We are truly humbled by the ongoing community support that we receive. From the hospital foundation and our family…Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

The annual display will be back in November 2022.
