Resident confronts intruder during alleged break-in in Burlington: Police

Halton police are investigating an alleged break-in that recently occurred in Burlington.

According to Constable Steve Elms, Media Relations Officer for Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), the break-in occurred at a residence on Folkway Dr. on Nov. 17 at approximately 5:40 p.m.

Elms told insauga.com that the complainant confronted a suspect that had forced open the front door.

According to Elms, the suspect immediately fled the scene. No arrests were made and no injuries were sustained.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9″ with a heavy build, according to Elms.

Elms confirmed that no items were taken during the break-in.
