One person shot dead in Mississauga

Residents of Mississauga are being advised to avoid an area where police are investigating reports of a shooting.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday (June 22), Peel Regional Police received reports that one person had been shot in the area of Glen Erin Drive and Brittania Road West.
As a result, there is a large police presence in that area while officers investigate.
A person was seen running from the area, but Peel police do not yet have a description of them.
UPDATE: Shooting victim has died of his injuries. The male victim was shot in the alley way in a residential complex.
