Renovations complete at popular Burlington pool

After months of being closed for repairs and maintenance, the renovations at Aldershot pool in Burlington are now complete and awaiting inspection.
Back in June 2020, the City announced the pool’s closure for several repairs that included re-tiling, painting and grouting.
A recent tweet from Burlington Councillor, Kelvin Galbraith, confirmed that the pool has now been refilled and is waiting on inspection by Halton Region.
“I know many have been anxiously awaiting an update on renovations to Aldershot Pool. Renos are now complete, and pool refilled. We are now waiting on inspection by Halton Region,” stated the tweet.
“Region staff have been re-deployed at the moment as they deal with COVID-19 related tasks,” the tweet continued.
“Once the call to re-open comes, staff will work quickly to return all systems back to normal so there will be no further delay with the re-opening.”
