There was a time, not so long ago when Hamilton restaurant-goers had to make the difficult choice between churros and empanadas or cannolis and spaghetti.

Those days are over now that Peruviano has opened its doors on Locke Street. The Peruvian-Italian eatery held its soft opening last week and scheduled its grand opening for Wednesday (Nov. 24). The restaurant posted on social media that it will also be introducing its full menu this week.

Previously located on Main St. East, Peruviano has taken over the space that was occupied by Souvlocke next to Earth to Table: Bread Bar. Its menu has always offered the best of both worlds; from Peruvian favourites like lomo saltado to Italian classics like spaghetti bolognese.
