Registration is now open for Brampton’s Fitness in the Park open air workouts.

The City has reintroduced an extended offering of the free, summer favourite. The program has been expanded to offer residents more options to engage in safe, open air fitness activities during the warmer months in areas where physical distancing is possible for large groups.

Days, locations, and timeslots have been expanded for increased capacity.

Reservations are required to limit entry and manage capacity. Reserve your visit online or by calling 311. Reservations open 3 days in advance to Brampton residents and 2 days in advance to non-residents.

Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before the program start time in order to check-in and complete an individual warm-up to help avoid injury.

Participants unable to attend their registered timeslot should cancel from their online recreation account. Participants can also email [email protected] or call 311 or the program facility location to cancel the registration more than one hour in advance of the program.

Fitness in the Park is offered to those ages six and over. Refer to each program description for specific age group restrictions.

Participants 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who can maintain visual supervision of their participant at all times; if the parent/guardian wishes to participate, they must register into the program. Parents/guardians recommended to be on site for youth ages 11 to 13.

Participants are encouraged to bring a towel, mat, and water. Comfortable workout attire and athletic footwear are recommended.
