RED CARD CLOSURE: Popular hamburger joint shut down due to health risks in Brampton

UPDATE: The restaurant has reopened after passing re-inspection on Friday, June 28.

Original story below:

A popular hamburger joint and takeout spot in Brampton has been shut down following a failed health inspection.

Frank’s Hamburgers, located at 227 Vodden St E., was inspected and closed on Thursday, June 27.

According to the inspection report, the restaurant did not keep non-food contact surfaces clean, and did not keep the area free from health hazards.

This is the second inspection on the restaurant’s public record and the only failed inspection to date.

The restaurant remains closed and may reopen after passing a follow-up inspection.
