Several recalls were issued across Canada over the past week involving food products. The recalls include undeclared allergens, labelling concerns and more.

June 25: Salem Foods Ground Spices and Spice Blends

Anyone with allergies to those ingredients should avoid consuming the affected products.
June 26: Amy’s Organic Lentil Soup (Less Sodium)
Amy’s Organic Lentil Soup (Less Sodium) was recalled due to container integrity defects that could compromise the product and lead to spoilage.
What consumers should do
Consumers who have purchased any of the recalled products should stop using or consuming them immediately. Food items can typically be returned to the retailer or discarded, while owners of the recalled power bank are advised to stop using it and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for refunds or safe disposal.
As is often the case with Canadian recalls, undeclared allergens were behind most of this week’s notices, highlighting the importance of carefully checking product labels, especially for those with food allergies or sensitivities.
